The band was looking for something that would make them stand out. The album is both relaxing and psychedelic. I suggested a coloring book or paint by numbers album cover. Each fan can customize it and listen to the album while they color/paint.

The word “Matinee” was the main inspiration for this design. I went with a font that felt theatrical and another for the actual marquee.

The song is about walking alone in New Orleans at night and is just as warm as it is cool. I used those colors to capture the feel as well as a sandy texture. I chose the font to evoke nostalgia.

The song is about October but has very beachy vibes. An orange palm tree near a full moon was intended to capture the relaxed feeling the song gives you. The font was chosen to evoke a vintage retro feel.
